About
This blog is a component of the course HIST 4170, a course offered by the University of Guelph entitled “Digital Humanities”. Throughout this course I will be posting on this blog about the various readings we are to complete, class discussions and new tidbits of information, as well as thoughts and plans for the “Big Project” due at the end of the semester.
A bit about me…
I am a fourth year History major, completing my last semester and hoping to get into the Masters of Library and Information Science program at the University of Western Ontario. Last semester I lived in London, England on the semester abroad program associated with the University of Guelph, and had the most exciting and wonderful opportunities to learn in various manners. I have decided from that trip as well as a Canadian Battlefields tour in Grade 12 that the travel bug has bit me hard, and I look forward to seeing more of this beautiful planet and learning the intricacies of different cultures and traditions. I have a keen interest in technology to a certain degree, but haven’t explored it far enough, and therefore am excited about what this course can offer.
